Pantry Distributes 70 Thanksgiving Bags

On November 25th, Salaam Food Pantry brought the true spirit of Thanksgiving to over 35 underserved families in Irvington through a heartfelt community initiative. Volunteers hand-delivered 70 Thanksgiving bags to ensure that each family had everything they needed for a warm and festive holiday meal. Each family received two thoughtfully prepared bags: one containing a fresh halal turkey and the other packed with essential ingredients to create traditional Thanksgiving meals.

This initiative reflects Salaam Food Pantry's dedication to serving underserved individuals in the Irvington area. Efforts like these showcase the power of volunteerism in creating meaningful change, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to celebrate special moments with their loved ones.
