On April 25th, Salaam Food Pantry was honored to be recognized at Zakat Foundation of America Annual Community Service Award Ceremony!

We have had the privilege of partnering with Zakat Foundation of America to serve families in our community. Through this collaboration, Zakat Foundation provided bags of flour and bottles of vegetable oil to support local food security. Samah Alzubi, Community Outreach Coordinator with Zakat Foundation, joined our Sunday distributions at the Pantry Office to provide these essential staples to the local community. Their generosity and compassion embody the true spirit of community care.

We're grateful to Zakat Foundation for their continued support and for celebrating the work we do together. Thank you to Senator Aisha Wahab for the Certificate of Recognition, and to our incredible volunteers and supporters who make this mission possible.
