Maryam Naseer - Operations
Maryam Naseer is a Sophomore at San Jose State University studying Operations and Supply Chain Management. She is a part of the Salaam Food Pantry Youth Leads in charge or operations and volunteer management. Maryam started volunteering at Salaam Food Pantry in 2016 and has been an active member ever since. Having been active in other leadership roles such as SPL of her Boy Scout Troop 2119 and clubs at her school she hopes to pass on her leadership skills, strategic thinking, and management skills to other youth volunteers.

Adeel Ahmad - Software Developer
Adeel Ahmad is the engineering force behind Salaam Food Pantry's modern digital infrastructure. A Computer Science student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, Adeel is passionate about leveraging technology for social impact. He has applied his software development background to modernize the pantry's check-in and communication systems, helping to create a more streamlined and efficient experience for the community we serve.

Asiya Siddiqui - Journalist
Asiya Siddiqui is an Economics major at the University of California, Berkeley. She began volunteering at the Salaam Food Pantry in 2021 and has been an active leader ever since. Asiya is also a news reporter at The Daily Californian, an editor at Student Policy Institute at Berkeley, and director of corporate relations at Muslims of Haas. She aspires to guide fellow youth in increasing Salaam Food Pantry's impact, given that she cares deeply about the community's well-being. Her goal is to lead volunteers in collaborative projects that benefit families in need.

Anam Hanif - Journalist
Anam Hanif is a sophomore at Foothill High School and one of the journalists at Salaam Food Pantry. She began volunteering at the pantry in the summer of 2025, where she writes blogs highlighting stories of community impact and youth involvement. She also participates in her school’s Model United Nations program and serves as the Social Media Manager for Flow Forward, a nonprofit that empowers youth through service initiatives. Through these experiences, she continues to develop her creativity and communication skills while working to make a positive difference in her community.
