Monthly Food Distribution

The Salaam Food Pantry hosts a free food distribution on the 4th Saturday of every month in the Irvington district area of Fremont. This includes a bag full of non-perishable food as well as some fruits, vegetables and breads that people can take. This food pantry distribution takes place in the parking lot of Islamic Center of Fremont and is organization by the non profit Salaam Food Pantry with the help of volunteer adults and children. Numerous people and families from near by low-income and senior housing complexes as well from far locations in the bay area look forward to this monthly event to get much needed food supplies, warm food and community support.
